our last c'div match was over. and though we lost, we fought real hard. we didn't give up even after being down 1-0. we worked even harder and scored two goals within ten minutes. the smile on coach's face as he was running up and down the pitch was never seen before. the happiness he felt, the tears of joy shed by team mates and the screams by supporters made us feel accomplished. then the whistle blew, and the time stopped. the damn empire just didnt want to give us the goal, and he just had to give us that damn short corner. and yes, i'm pissed with you. but who cares right now? we know we wont the match. fate just wasn't in our way. everyone knew it was ours.
we cried and cried after the match. i was even slapped by sunflower. i didnt know why. then i realised that my eyes were still red. i really didnt know. we wanted it so badly. we worked so hard for it. but after reading the post on nat's blog, we did make everyone proud. and i mean, everyone. even coach said so after our match. we didn't give up till the last second. we fought for the ball everytime we got it. we pushed even harder to get back that one goal to put us through the semis. we attacked, we defended hard. we persevered through the tensed situation.
then the final whistle blew. for the first time, the whole place was quiet. no one cheered. not even the players from sengkang. as we shook hands, they hugged and some even cried for us. they cheered us on, not to cry. it was not the end. they knew we deserved it more. but all we could do for now is just to support them. which other team would want to cry for us, to cheer us on, even after we fall? no other. i never met any other team.
as we cheered for them, our voices changed. everyone broke down. every single person, whether or not they played on the pitch. that was how bad we wanted it. those who were not playing during the last few seconds of the game while we were attacking, i saw them stand up and screamed and shouted every step we got nearer to the D. everyone had faith in us. we didn't want to let anyone down. even ms rilaini was proud of us. we were happy. but the thought of not getting into semis was really hauting us all. what with all the trainings and hardwork we had put in. all the push ups coach made us do everytime we didnt please him. it was worth the doing, really.

i love crescent hockey c'div. i love you guys so so so soooo much. i've never met such people who are so strong, that even after we cried so so sooo much, you guys could still make all the others smile as well. i never felt so much bond with other friends before. never. the love and support each and everyone of you showed towards one another was really undescribable. it's like we're fated to be together as one, never leaving anyone behind. through thick and thin, we stick as one.

we'll get, we'll get strong.
then we stand.

we'll get even more stronger next year to take back what's meant to be ours. we'll play even harder during b'div to prove all our capabilities, to show how strong a team we really are. i'm sure everyone who watched our last match against sengkang would remember us, Crescent hockers. why? because we really showed our determination and our pation for hockey. we didn't give up. we cried, because we wanted it so bad. but deep inside i know we're strong. i know that the match would even make us stronger in preparations for all the next few matches, be it friendly or not. cause i know we give off our best for every match we play. yes, i know we can do it. everyone is supporting us. cause we're a strong team.
there's nothing to regret.

to sengkang, crescent hockey love you! the silence you guys gave us was really sincere of you. crescent hockey is always behind you, be it on, or off the pitch. though we lost our place to you people, we'll be cheering for you guys during the next match. it's like, you guys are already a part of us, really. go sengkang!(:
